The Building Surveying Group provides specialist property advice to clients, across all ARCADIS AYH's markets, particularly in respect of transactional business, landlord and tenant issues including dilapidations and rent review advice, neighbourly matters including Party Wall Awards and matters where expert analysis of problems or defects on a building may be required.
The Building Surveying function is to support our Clients who deal with property, whether they be owners, occupiers, investors or funders. The core Building Surveying discipline of understanding forms of construction and how buildings and materials perform is applied to all of our services by experienced Chartered Building Surveyors.
The requirements of our Clients can vary immensely between differing parties, including acquisition surveys or monitoring building works, dilapidations advice to both landlords and tenants, strategic planning, expert analysis in support of rent review negotiations and analysis and negotiation of service charge accounts.
ARCADIS AYH Building Surveying operates within a construction consultancy environment and the team is supported by the core Project Management and Cost Consultancy disciplines as well as specialist Engineering, Health and Safety, Dispute Resolution and Programming functions. The multi disciplinary nature of ARCADIS AYH and the wide ranging technical backup, allows Building Surveying advice to be rounded and technically focused.
